Electroplating Manufacturing Specialist
Who You Are
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Specialist with expertise in Electroplating processes to join our dynamic team. Your level of seniority and details of your job description depends on your interest, skill sets, prior experience, how fast you learn new concepts, and adapt to the culture. The Manufacturing Specialist – Electroplating will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of electroplating processes, maintaining quality standards, and optimizing production output. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electroplating techniques, process optimization, and quality control methodologies. The Manufacturing Specialist will work closely with the company’s VPs and C levels.
Responsibilities:
Work with a team of experts to utilize basic analytical techniques and lab work.
Perform hands-on tasks with tools and metal shop equipment including electroplating.
Operate prototyping industrial lines.
Maintain the line or shop and contribute to modify the line as needed.
Maintain records, document test and operation data, and protect company’s intellectual properties.
Additional responsibilities will be communicated in detail during the interview.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirement:
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in electroplating manufacturing.
Confident in chemical handling
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to travel at least 10%.
Ability to work with Hazardous Chemicals.
Basic Mathematics / Basic computer skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Detail oriented and problem solver.
Strong team player with good collaboration skills.
Legal immigration status with authorization to work in USA.
Be available for training when needed to learn additional skill sets.
What is a plus?
Academic degree and additional technical certifications.
Prior experience with non-destructive testing of coatings.
Familiarity with MIL spec, NADCAP, ISO requirements.
Customer support experience.
Previous startup experience.
Experience with presenting technical papers and proposals.
Experience with chemical mixing and handling.
